MASAF Space Degahbour Officially Launched to Expand Opportunities for Youth and Communities

MASAF Development Organization (MDO) officially launched MASAF Space Degahbour, marking an important milestone in the organization's efforts to expand access to skills development, entrepreneurship support, innovation, and community engagement opportunities across the Somali Region.

While the hub has been actively operating since January 2026, the official launch event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including the Deputy Mayor of Degahbour, heads of government offices, youth representatives, civil society organizations, community leaders, and other local partners.

During the event, participants praised MASAF Development Organization for bringing its proven MASAF Spaces model to Degahbour and recognized the hub's potential to create meaningful opportunities for young people. Speakers highlighted the importance of investing in youth development and creating spaces where young people can learn, connect, innovate, and access opportunities that support their personal and professional growth.

The launch also provided an opportunity to showcase the hub's vision and ongoing activities, which include skills training, entrepreneurship support, digital literacy programs, networking events, mentorship opportunities, and community-led initiatives.
